In Palo Alto, the best-known bakeries and bagel shops have lines on weekend mornings, so arrive early or order ahead where the shop offers it. Across California, immigrant bakeries add Mexican pan dulce, Vietnamese banh mi bread, Chinese buns, Middle Eastern sweets and European rye to the mix, and many gluten-free and vegan bakeries have opened in larger cities. Check the listing for hours, whether the shop accepts custom cake orders and its Google rating before you go, and call about allergens, since small kitchens often share equipment. Palo Alto is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Palo Alto follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

Iβm sorry to say but Iβve never been to such a joyless microcreamery. For one thing there is no love for the dairy avoidant girlies β not even a basic 1-3 vegan flavors made with coconut milk or oat or something. Only fruity sorbets. Never been to a microcreamery that doesnβt have that option. And if you want a little treat thatβs not 60+ grams of sugar youβre out of luck. Every other place has a kiddie size like a half scoop but not here. Even if you get the small they wonβt do two half scoops so you get one monolithic flavor unless you go up to 1000 calories for a medium. I think sampling max 3 flavors would be more reasonable than max 2. Itβs not like the place was even crowded. Just subpar on the options and weirdly strict like the customer is the enemy.

I like the taro and coffee flavor. It's always crowded whenever I walked cross this store in Palo Alto, are they popular among locals?

One of my favorite places for ice cream in the bay area: 1. I always go for Hella Nutella (in waffle cup with oreo crumbles and hot fudge toppings), and have never been disappointed. 2. Not as busy as Salt n Straw which is very nearby, but better than it in my opinion. 3. Lots of public parking garages and street parking around.

We recently visited Scoop Microcreamery in Palo Alto, and it was a delightful experience! Julissa and Valeria were incredibly helpful, patiently answering all our questions about the available options and assisting with our order. Their friendly demeanor made the visit even better. We initially ordered the New York Cherry flavor, but found it too sweet, and the cherry flavor wasn't as pronounced as we hoped. Thankfully, we switched it out for the Green Tea flavor, which was absolutely fantasticβa rich, creamy texture with the perfect balance of earthy tea notes. We also tried the Pistachio, and it was just as amazing, bursting with authentic nutty flavors that didnβt overpower the creamy base. Parking was a breeze as we found a spot right across the street, making it convenient for a quick in-and-out visit. Scoop continues to impress with their unique flavors and excellent service. Weβre looking forward to trying more flavors on our next trip!

I love this ice cream shop! Itβs a great traditional ice cream shop if you prefer more standard flavors and toppings. They also have so many different flavors! Their menu is much larger than whatβs in the glass display, but that just means theyβll scoop it from their fridge they have behind the display. Their service is good. Usually thereβs not a line when we go, but even when there is it moves pretty fast. They donβt do tasting samples, but they do have a βsee you laterβ where you can get a small sample scoop of an ice cream with your order for free. I really like that because you can try an ice cream flavor youβre not sure of and then maybe next time get it. The ice cream shop is really cute. It feels like an old-school ice cream shop with its chalkboard menu, cute tile walls, and clear displays. It reminds of a small town ice cream shop. That being said, itβs clean and new so overall well-maintained. Parking: There are many parking garages in Palo Alto so itβs not too hard for us to find parking
